Congratulations are in order for the NFL’s Rookies of the Month for September. The league announced that Buccaneers wide receiver Emeka Egbuka won the offensive rookie honors for the first four weeks, with Falcons safety Xavier Watts winning the defensive rookie award.

Egbuka was the No. 19 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The wideout from Ohio State has already made a big impact with the Buccaneers. He caught 18 passes for 282 yards and four touchdowns in the first four weeks, including a game-winner in the final minute of one game.

Watts was the No. 96 overall pick by the Falcons toward the end of the third round. The Notre Dame product notched 23 tackles, four pass breakups and two interceptions. He is the only rookie to record multiple takeaways in the first four weeks.
