Will Colts’ CB Kenny Moore play in Week 5 vs. the Raiders? Here’s the latest injury update.

Will Indianapolis Colts’ cornerback Kenny Moore play in the team’s Week 5 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders?

Here’s the latest on Moore’s status moving forward.

Kenny Moore injury update

On Friday afternoon, head coach Shane Steichen ruled Moore out of this week’s game.

Moore sustained an Achilles injury in the Colts‘ Week 3 win over Tennessee. He has not practiced at all over the last two weeks.

How long will Kenny Moore be out?

Early last week, Steichen said that he did not believe that Moore needed an injured reserve stint, which would require him to miss at least four games.

In addition to that, Ian Rapoport would report that Moore could miss a couple of weeks.

Colts cornerback depth chart without Kenny Moore

Just like we saw a week ago, Mike Hilton will likely be elevated from the practice squad for this week’s game and handle the nickel responsibilities.

Against the Rams, Hilton played 58 snaps while making three tackles. In coverage, he allowed two receptions on three targets for just seven yards, per PFF.

We also saw Mekhi Blackmon take some slot snaps last week, but with Xavien Howard retiring earlier this week, I would anticipate that Blackmon will start at the outside cornerback position opposite of Charvarius Ward.
