Pittsburgh Steelers trade buzz is picking up steam as a new report on the New Orleans Saints has set off a speculation frenzy in the Steel City.

On Saturday, NewOrleans.Football’s Nick Underhill reported that several teams are interested in trading for some of the Saints‘ veteran players. Underhill added that while those teams wait to see who becomes available in the next few weeks, New Orleans may be open to fielding offers — news that only fuels the Chris Olave-to-Pittsburgh rumors.

“There are teams interested in some of the Saints’ veteran players and they’ll be watching to see who becomes available in the coming weeks, league sources tell me,” Underhill wrote via X. “There’s a feeling around the league that New Orleans will be open to hearing offers in the coming weeks.”

While there are other pressing needs on the Steelers‘ roster, acquiring a talented, former first-round wideout would push the Aaron Rodgers-led offense to even greater heights — with Olave, DK Metcalf, and a healthy Calvin Austin forming one of the most elite wide receiver trios in the NFL.

We previously predicted a trade package for Olave back in May, but Pittsburgh may be able to pull off a deal at an even bigger bargain should New Orleans grow desperate as the deadline approaches.
