It took a few weeks, but the Denver Broncos now have four inside linebackers on the active roster again.

After placing linebacker Dre Greenlaw (quad) on injured reserve in September, Denver was down to three players at the position: Alex Singleton, Justin Strnad and Karene Reid. The Broncos elevated Garret Wallow from the practice squad to the game-day roster in three straight games, and he has now been fully promoted to the 53-man roster.

Denver placed tight end Lucas Krull on injured reserve with a broken foot on Saturday. To fill his former spot on the active roster, the Broncos promoted Wallow (6-2, 230 pounds) to the 53-man roster. He is a 26-year-old linebacker who entered the league as a fifth-round pick out of TCU with the Houston Texans in 2021.

After three seasons in Houston, Wallow had a two-year stint with the Tennessee Titans. He signed with Denver during training camp this summer and was bumped down to the practice squad after roster cuts.

Wallow has totaled 45 tackles, one quarterback hit, one sack and one pass breakup in 38 career games, including three tackles in three games with the Broncos this season.
