According to NFL draft reporter Ryan Fowler, the Pittsburgh Steelers are one of the right NFL teams to have multiple scouts/representatives at the Penn State vs UCLA game on Saturday. For the Steelers, this would mark the second time they had at least one scout in attendance for either Penn State quarterback Drew Allar or UCLA quarterback Nico Iamaleava.

The Steelers find themselves in an interesting predicament after four games. The team sits at 3-1 and atop the AFC North. This is all great for this season and points directly to the addition of quarterback Aaron Rodgers. But with every game the Steelers win, their plan for a first-round quarterback in the 2026 NFL draft gets a little more complicated.

We aren’t big fans of Allar or Imamleava, especially in the first round but that might be the angle the Steelers are taking. If the team keeps winning, they might pick too late in the round to get one of the five top quarterbacks and could scrap the plan altogether.

Here are our updated Top Eight quarterbacks in the upcoming draft, with only the first five having a first-round grade.
