The New York Jets are still looking for their first win under the watch of head coach Aaron Glenn and they were not particularly close in Week 5.

The Jets (0-5) hosted the Dallas Cowboys (2-2-1) at MetLife Stadium in a cross-conference battle. While the final score wasn’t too drastically different, the Green and White had an ugly outing against Dallas in a 37-22 final.

With that, here is Jets Wire’s instant analysis of the Jets’ loss to the Cowboys:

Not a whole lot. Just about nothing.

The brightest spot for the Jets was running back Breece Hall. His stat line starts very impressively: 14 carries for 113 yards, an average of 8.1 yards per carry.

Of course, New York fell behind again and had to abandon the rushing attack.

On the flip side, just about everything. The penalties, turnovers and mental mistakes did not stop against the Cowboys. Despite Hall’s strong numbers, he fumbled in back-breaking fashion.

Not to mention, the Jets defense cannot stop anybody. Regardless of what their job is. Cowboys running back Javonte Williams had 135 yards, averaging 8.4 yards per carry with a touchdown. Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott? A cool four touchdown passes.

And it’s not like the Jets offense keeps them in a game. New York quarterback Justin Fields is now 0-26 in his NFL career and an opponent scores more than 21 points. Fields cannot out-duel anyone.

Head coach Aaron Glenn is not on the hot seat quite yet. However, he’s the first head coach to start his coaching career with the team 0-5.

That is a bad, bad look.

The Jets host the Denver Broncos in Week 6. The Broncos rose to 3-2 overall this season by handing the Philadelphia Eagles (4-1), the defending Super Bowl champions, their first loss of the season.
