Two Atlanta Falcons players were awarded by the NFL for their efforts through the first four games of the 2025 season. Running back Bijan Robinson took home NFC Offensive Player of the Month, while safety Xavier Watts won the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Month award for September.
Both players have had a major impact this season. Robinson has been leading the way as both a runner and pass catcher. The third-year running back has totaled nearly 600 all-purpose yards through the first four games. Robinson has rushed for 304 yards on the ground and added 270 more as a receiver.

Watts has more than held his own on defense. The rookie safety has two interceptions, 23 tackles and four pass deflections. Atlanta was fortunate enough to land the Notre Dame standout in the third round of the 2025 NFL draft.

Unfortunately, neither player will be in action this weekend as the Falcons have their bye in Week 5. Hopefully, having an early bye doesn’t slow down either player’s momentum. Atlanta will return in Week 6 to face the Buffalo Bills.
