No one had a bigger win on Saturday night than Miami quarterback Carson Beck. Beck, a senior from Jacksonville, Florida, has thrown for 1,213 yards, 11 touchdowns and three interceptions in his first season at Miami. He helped lead Georgia to the College Football Playoff last season, but suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament (elbow) in the Bulldogs’ 22-19 win over Texas in the SEC championship.
Right behind Beck is No. 3 Oregon quarterback Dante Moore with +700 odds. The sophomore has thrown for 1,210 yards, 14 touchdowns and one interception in his first season as a starter for the Ducks.
Moore had big shoes to fill by Dillon Gabriel, who the Cleveland Browns selected in the third round of April’s draft. Moore has a big contest upcoming this week, as Oregon will host No. 7 Indiana on Saturday.
