HOUSTON – The Texans worked out four defensive linemen Monday, according to a league source.
That included reserve defensive tackle Marlon Davidson. He got hurt against the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday in the third quarter and remained in the game before being placed on injured reserve with a biceps injury Monday, per a league source. He was then removed from injured reserve with an injury settlement.
The Texan also worked out former seventh-round draft pick Marcus Harris, defensive tackle Ben Stille and defensive end Joe Gaziano, per sources.
Davidson, 27, is a former Atlanta Falcons second-round draft pick who has also played for the San Francisco 49ers and Tennessee Titans.
Davidson (6-foot-3, 303 pounds has recorded 39 career tackles, two sacks, one interception, and one fumble recovery. He’s a former All-Southeastern Conference selection at Auburn.
