BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Twelve former Boise State Broncos are set to make their mark in Week Five of the NFL season, with two players taking the spotlight in primetime matchups. Khalil Shakir and the Buffalo Bills will face off against the New England Patriots on Sunday night. Meanwhile, Ezra Cleveland and the Jacksonville Jaguars will host the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football.
Ashton Jeanty of the Las Vegas Raiders had a standout performance, rushing for 138 yards and scoring three touchdowns in a narrow 25-24 loss to the Chicago Bears. Jeanty is the only player this season to achieve over 150 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns in a single game. His 64-yard touchdown run is the second-longest rushing score of the season.
