Week 6 of the NFL season is here, and injuries have already taken center stage across the league. Several key players went down in Week 5, creating ripple effects that could shape this weekend’s matchups.
Below, we’ll break down the initial injury reports for every team set to play in Week 6 — and what each situation could mean for their upcoming games.

The Eagles are on a short week and held walkthrough practices throughout the week, but left guard Landon Dickerson won’t be available Thursday and could miss multiple games. Brett Toth will start in his place. Linebacker Nakobe Dean is expected to be activated from his 21-day practice window and make his season debut against the Giants. Defensive tackle Jalen Carter is listed as questionable after being limited with a new heel injury.
With Darius Slayton sidelined, quarterback Jaxson Dart will be without his top two receivers for the Giants. Jalin Hyatt and Wan’Dale Robinson are expected to be his primary targets this week. Running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. (shoulder) was limited in practice but did not receive an injury designation, meaning he’s good to go.
Two defensive starters for the Broncos were on the initial injury report. Linebackers Nik Bonitto (wrist) and Alex Singleton (thumb) were full participants in Wednesday’s practice.Â
For the Jets, Justin Fields (knee) was listed on the injury report this week — yet he was a full participant in practice. Defensive end Jermaine Johnson II (ankle) did not practice. and defensive lineman Quinnen Williams (groin) was limited.Â

It was a lengthy injury report for the Cowboys, as wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (ankle), wide receiver KaVontae Turpin (foot) and guard Tyler Booker (ankle) did not practice. Cornerback DaRon Bland (shoulder), defensive end JaDeveon Clowney (hip), cornerback Trevon Diggs (knee), tackle Tyler Guyton (concussion) and guard Tyler Smith (knee) were limited.Â
The Panthers didn’t have running back Chuba Hubbard available for Wednesday’s practice due to a calf injury. Tackle Taylor Moton (elbow) also did not practice. Cornerback Mike Jackson (ribs) was a full participant.Â
Light injury report for the Colts, as cornerback Kenny Moore (Achilles) did not practice. Wide reciever Alec Pierce (concussion) was a full participant.Â
The Cardinals may not have quarterback Kyler Murray this week, as he didn’t practice Wednesday with a foot injury. If Murray can’t go, Jacoby Brissett would be in line to start. Cornerbacks Max Melton (hamstring) and Will Johnson (groin) were limited.Â
A few players did not practice for the Seahawks on Wednesday, including linebacker Ernest Jones (shoulder), safety Julian Love (hamstring) and cornerback Devon Witherspoon (knee). Safety Nick Emmanwori (ankle) was limited.Â
The Jaguars had wide receiver Dyami Brown (shoulder) and defensive lineman Travon Walker (wrist) as limited participants in practice. Running back Bhayshul Tuten (shoulder) was also limited.Â
The Chargers held tackle Joe Alt (hip) out of practice to start the week, along with guard Trey Pipkins (knee). Guard Mekhi Becton (hand) and wide receiver Quentin Johnston (hamstring) were limited.Â
The Patriots have been relatively healthy at this point of the season, but defensive tackle Milton Williams (ankle) was limited in Wednesday’s practice. Safety Jaylinn Hawkins (hamstring) and defensive end Keion White (elbow) did not practice.Â
For the Saints, running back Alvin Kamara (ankle) and tight end Juwan Johnson (ankle) were limited in practice. Defensive end Chase Young (calf) was also limited.Â
The Browns had a few players on rest days, but defensive end Myles Garrett was limited (ankle). Cornerbacks Greg Newsome II (hamstring) and Denzel Ward (hip) were also limited. Tight end David Njoku (knee) was a full participant.Â
The Steelers had some good news on their injury report, as running back Jaylen Warren (knee) was a full participant in practice coming out of the bye week. Cornerback Jalen Ramsey (hamstring) did not practice while fellow cornerback Joey Porter Jr. (hamstring) was a full participant. Wide receiver Calvin Austin III (shoulder) did not practice.Â
The Titans had a lengthy injury report on Wednesday, starting with defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons (ankle) not practicing. Wide receiver Van Jefferson (ankle) and defensive end Arden Key (quad) did not practice. Tackle JC Latham (hip) was limited.Â
The Bengals had just one noticeable player on the injury report, as wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase had a rest day. Pass rusher Shemar Stewart (ankle) was limited.Â
The Packers have a lengthy injury report, starting with defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt (knee) a nonparticipant in practice. Tackle Zach Tom (oblique) was limited, as was fellow tackle Rasheed Walker (quad). Wide receiver Christian Watson (knee) is in his practice window to return, but he was limited Wednesday.
