It’s no secret that NFL fans seemingly reached their breaking point with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s public relationship with pop star Taylor Swift.
The two faced some significant backlash following Super Bowl LIX in February that forced them to take a bit of a hiatus from the public spotlight and limit their public outings in the weeks since at the urging of their inner circle.

Throughout the regular season, many fans and some NFL players expressed their frustration with the overexposure of Kelce and Swift’s relationship, which is something Buffalo Bills quarterback and reigning MVP Josh Allen seemingly wants to learns from.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, Allen has observed how Kelce and Swift have lived out their relationship in a public manner, which is something he wants to avoid with his fiancée and A-list actress Hailee Steinfeld.

“Besides being at any of her premieres or anything else to support her, Josh and Hailee aren’t going to be seen a lot going out to dinner and parading themselves around like Taylor and Travis do,” a source told the Daily Mail.

“… He doesn’t assume that it will get to the levels of Taylor or Travis though, because Taylor is so popular… Plus, Travis is toward the end of his career, whereas Josh has a long way to go. He is going to remain mostly on the sidelines for things that would make his status and fame more with Hailee.”
Fortunately for Allen, he’s had a front-row seat to the pitfalls of being one of the faces of the NFL and being in a high-profile public relationship.

But he and Steinfeld have done well to keep their relationship mostly private since they started dating, and the two rarely make public appearances — save for an appearance at NFL honors where Allen was presented with his first MVP award.

“Josh…would love to win multiple Super Bowls and be forever placed in the conversation as one of the best,” the source continued. “With that, it provides a certain celebrity, but then add a relationship with a Hollywood star, it changes your status and fame pretty quick. He would love to take a lower- profile approach.”
