The Kansas City Chiefs may be without Xavier Worthy in Week 6 after the speedy wideout missed practice on Thursday ahead of the team’s matchup against the Detroit Lions on ‘Sunday Night Football.’

Worthy is listed on Kansas City’s injury report due to issues with his shoulder — which he dislocated in a collision with star tight end Travis Kelce in Week 1 — and ankle, which flared up and caused him to be designated as questionable to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars earlier this week.

The former Texas Longhorn was able to play through the shoulder and ankle injuries in Week 5, but it is unclear whether he will be able to take the field for Kansas City’s primetime matchup against the Lions.

All other Chiefs players were full participants in Kansas City’s practice session on Thursday, but Worthy’s exclusion from workouts is a bad omen for the reigning AFC champions as they look ahead to their tilt with Detroit.
