Philadelphia entered Thursday night looking to remedy the problems on offense, but after one half of football, it’s Vic Fangio’s defense searching for answers. The New York Giants have two rushing touchdowns between Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo and lead the Eagles 20-17 at the end of the first half.

Quinyon Mitchell exits
Philadelphia Eagles star cornerback Quinyon Mitchell is questionable to return against the Giants after suffering a hamstring injury late in the first quarter at MetLife Stadium. Kelee Ringo started the game opposite Mitchell, but was benched for Adoree Jackson after allowing significant gains to Wan’Dale Robinson and Lil’Jordan Humphrey, who are both averaging over 20 yards per reception. Jackson and Ringo are both in the lineup, with Mitchell questionable to return. Mitchell ranked first in the league with seven forced incompletions entering Week Six. He also ranks T-3rd in completion percentage allowed (45.0%) as well as 4th in passer rating allowed (57.1) (min. 20 targets).
Jalen Hurts
The Eagles quarterback was 14-18 passing for 164 yards (9.1 avg), one touchdown, zero interceptions, and a 123.1 rating with two first-half sacks.
Saquon
On the day that his acclaimed Documentary dropped, Barkley had eight carries for 56 yards (7.0 avg) in the first half.
A.J. Brown-DeVonta Smith
The dynamic duo was partly involved in the first half. Brown had five catches for 73 yards (14.6 avg) on six targets, while Smith had two catches for 24 yards.
Giants’ explosive pass catchers
In what can only be described as a shocking turn of events, Wan’Dale Robinson had four catches for 62 yards (15.5 avg) and one touchdown on four targets. In comparison, Lil’Jordan Humphrey had three catches for 49 yards (16.3 avg) on four targets in the first half without Malik Nabers or Darius Slayton in the lineup.
Eagles defense
On a night when the Eagles’ offense found some good chemistry, Vic Fangio’s defense had a first-half meltdown. The Eagles’ defense allowed 3 TDs in the 1st half for only the second time in the Fangio era. The Giants had ten first downs, 5-6 on third down, and 198 yards while holding the football seven minutes less.
Jaxson Dart
The rookie was impressive and finished the first half 10-13 for 127 yards, one touchdown, and a 132.5 rating. Dart had four carries for 38 yards and a touchdown to lead the Giants.
Dallas Goedert
Looking to maintain his status as one of the NFL’s highest-paid tight ends in 2026, Goedert had another solid first half of action and logged six catches for 53 yards and a touchdown.
