🏈 Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Patrick Queen chugged a beer on Thursday night at the Pittsburgh Penguins game while his teammates cheered him on.
Jack Sawyer, T.J. Watt, Cam Heyward, Keeanu Benton and Nick Herbig were also at the Penguins game.
🏈 The Cleveland Browns haven’t won a regular season game in Pittsburgh since 2003.
🏈 Steelers tight end Jonnu Smith visited SCI Fayette with five of his teammates on Tuesday to discuss reentry with the population—including Smith’s brother, who is incarcerated at the facility.
The Steelers—including Pat Freiermuth, Matt Sokol, Connor Heyward, Corliss Waitman, and Calvin Anderson—met with a small group to discuss their reentry plans before meeting with a larger group in the gym. The large event began with a presentation by Bruce Harris and David Conway of Community Kitchen, an organization supported by the Steelers that hires reentrants for culinary careers.
Their presentation was followed by a question-and-answer session with the Steelers where attendees asked a wide range of questions about life and football. Many employees proudly wore their black and gold and also attended the event in the gym.

🏈 Friday marked the 49-year anniversary of Browns defensive end Turkey Jones pile driving Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw into the Cleveland turf. Bradshaw suffers a spinal injury and concussion and would miss the next two and a half games.
🏈 In terms of EPA, the Steelers defense ranks 31st vs. 12 personnel. The Browns run the most 12 personnel in the NFL, according to Matt Williamson of NFL.com.

🏈 Chris Fuamatu-Ma’afala’s game-winning touchdown against the Browns in the 2002 Wild Card game was one of the most iconic memories in the Steelers-Browns rivalry. Fuamatu-Ma’afala scored from 3 yards out with 54 seconds left to give the Steelers a 34-33 lead after trailing by 17 points. Steelers wide receiver Antwaan Randle El completed a pass to tight end Jerame Tuman for the two-point conversion.
🏈 NFL.com released its preview for the Steelers-Browns game on Sunday. All 10 of the analysts on the panel picked the Steelers to win.
The Steelers are 4.5-point favorites to beat the Browns, according to odds posted on Sunday by FanDuel Sportsbook. The Steelers have a -245 money line, and the over/under total for the game is 38.5.

🏈 WPXI: A couple of Steelers cooked meals for cancer patients and survivors on Tuesday.Nick Herbig and Keeanu Benton put their culinary skills to use in collaboration with UPMC Hillman and UPMC Magee.
They were joined by UPMC chefs to cook a three-course meal in a competition.
Chef Brett Stewart said the event is a good reminder for patients that eating healthy can give them a boost during a hard time.
“You are what you eat. I know it’s an old saying but it’s also one of the most genuine sayings you can ever think of,” said Stewart. “The fruits and the vegetables, once they get in your system, the vibrancy that comes from that is a real thing.”
Herbig said the event was personal to him.
“There’s been people in my life that had breast cancer, specifically my grandmother. She battled that for a long time and she finally beat it. Just seeing such a strong woman like her go that and come through the other side is just an inspiration to me,” Herbig said.
