Bo Nix is going to be a father.
The Denver Broncos quarterback – and former Oregon and Auburn star – announced with his wife, Izzy Nix, they are expecting their first child on social media
“Nix party of 3!!!” the couple posted on Instagram.
The post also cited Jeremiah 1:5, which states, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.”
Nix, an Alabama native, and Izzy Nix, who began dating at Auburn, were married in July 2022.
The Broncos (3-2) are coming off a 21-17 win over the previously unbeaten Philadelphia Eagles was last week. Denver takes on the winless New York Jets in Week 6.
Nix and his teammates aren’t taking the Jets lightly.
Denver quarterback Bo Nix was miffed at the mere suggestion the Broncos could overlook the Jets.
“I think in the league, quite honestly, it’s a little disrespectful to consider anybody a trap team,” Nix said earlier this week, per The Associated Press. “I think any game you can walk in and slip up and lose, that’s just the league. … They were a couple of walk-off plays away from having two or three wins. I definitely think that is something you’ve got to be careful with.
“This is not a team to just toss around like they’re winless, but I think we will be ready to go.”
