The Washington Commanders meet the Chicago Bears at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, at 8:15 p.m. EDT on Monday Night Football in Week 6 action.
The last meeting between these two teams was a showdown between two rookie quarterbacks that ended with an epic Hail Mary pass from Jayden Daniels to Noah Brown for the winning touchdown. This year, both teams have made changes and adjustments, which impact the players you should pick to start and sit in your fantasy league this week.

Both teams have a variety of players with fantasy value, some you start every week, others are there as bye-week or injury replacements. Regardless of why they’re on your roster, let’s take a look at four fantasy players you should start or sit from this primetime game.
Start: RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt
I know, last week I said to keep him on your bench, and he had a breakout game that no one expected. I felt your pain with his 27 points on my own bench. We won’t make that mistake again, though. Wild Bill is on a mission, and the Bears allow the third-most fantasy points to running backs, plus they rank 31st in rushing yards allowed per game. Bill is going to eat this week and likely blow his projected 13 points out of the water.
Sit: RB D’Andre Swift
D’Andre Swift had his best game by far against the Commanders last season, carrying the ball 18 times for 129 yards and a touchdown. He did not go over 100 yards in any other game. This season, Swift has 56 carries for 183 yards, he’s averaging 3.3 yards per attempt. The Commanders may struggle against the pass at times, but their run defense is solid. While Washington ranks 17th in run defense, it ranks 10th in yards per attempt.

Start: WR Rome Odunze
The Commanders’ secondary has struggled this year, and Odunze is cementing his role as WR1 for Caleb Williams. He’s averaging over 14 fantasy points per game and has found the end zone five times this season. The Commanders allow the ninth-most fantasy points to wide receivers, and as Williams’ top target, Odunze is a must-start.
Sit: TE Cole Kmet
With the rise of Rome Odunze comes the fall of Cole Kmet. He was a reliable target for Caleb Williams last year, but he hasn’t had the same impact in 2025. Half of his targets came in Week 4, but until he proves he can be a reliable option for Williams, Kmet should stay on your bench.

Start: QB Jayden Daniels
He’s Jayden Daniels. You always start Daniels. Did you see his performance last week against the Chargers? Daniels could have a big game running the ball or passing the ball. It’s worth noting that Terry McLaurin is out, and Deebo Samuel is questionable. However, Samuel is expected to play, and the two connected for 96 yards and a touchdown against a much better Chargers’ defense last week.
