Hassan Haskins was supposed to lead the Chargers backfield. Nope. Zonovan Knight was announced as the new lead for the Cardinals rushing attack Sunday morning. Nah, still Michael Carter. Jauan Jennings was returning to the field was the clear top name for the Niners’ receiving corps … You got the drift right? Last week was a series of coaching curveballs that blew up a number of fantasy rosters. Sometimes it happens. All we can do is dive back in and try to offer some more clarity for the week ahead.
So let’s go, you Ducks! We’re on to Week 7 with a look back at Week 6.

Joe Flacco, QB, Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, WRs, Bengals: The passing game gets a clear boost with Flacco only meaningfully targeting Chase and Higgins.
Chase Brown, Samaje Perine, RBs, Bengals: Brown is losing opportunities to Perine, but the best option for fantasy managers might be making Tahj Brooks a deep stash.
Michael Carter, Zonovan Knight, RBs, Cardinals: Carter will likely split carries 50/50 with Knight if Emari Demercado misses time. Knight has the trust of the Cardinals inside the 5-yard line for goal-line carries.
Marvin Harrison, WR, Cardinals: Left the game with a concussion.
Kimani Vidal, Hassan Haskins RBs, Chargers: Vidal is a fringe RB2 and a priority pickup, but he will still share some carries and they won’t face the Dolphins every week. The Chargers may still be looking to trade for or sign another back.
Isiah Pacheco, Kareem Hunt, RBs, Chiefs: Pacheco has pulled far ahead of Hunt in opportunities. He is a possible buy-low candidate, as an RB3 with an easier run-defense schedule ahead (Raiders, Commanders, Bills). Hunt is still in the mix for goal-line touches.
Jauan Jennings, WR, 49ers: After early reports that he would play, he dressed but he barely saw the field while playing through five broken ribs and ankle injuries.
Ricky Pearsall, Kendrick Bourne WRs, 49ers: Pearsall’s potential return creates a wide receiver “cluster.” If Pearsall is out, Bourne is the top option due to his connection with Mac Jones. If Pearsall is back, Bourne is a WR3.
Emeka Egbuka, Tez Johnson, Kameron Johnson, WRs, Buccaneers: Egbuka has a hamstring injury and may miss Week 7, potentially being held out until Week 10 due to the Week 9 bye. If Egbuka and Mike Evans are out, Tez Johnson has the higher ceiling as a WR3/WR4 option, while Kameron Johnson is a safer WR4 option.
Troy Franklin, WR, Broncos: Saw his production take a hit due to a call-back play. Consider him a WR4 with upside.
Pat Bryant, WR, Broncos: Saw an uptick in two-wide receiver sets and should be stashed in deeper leagues.
Mark Andrews, Isaiah Likely, TEs, Ravens: There are trade rumors surrounding Andrews. Likely would immediately become a top 10 tight end if Andrews were to be traded.
Puka Nacua, Jordan Whittington, WRs, Rams: Nacua is highly questionable for the Week 7 overseas game. If he is out, Whittington would be the number two wide receiver and a WR3/WR4.
Stefon Diggs, Kayshon Boutte, DeMario Douglas, WRs, Patriots: Diggs is a buy-low candidate after two games of being the clear WR1 in opportunities. Boutte and Douglas are not expected to repeat their high production.
David Njoku, Harold Fannin, TEs, Browns: Njoku is hurt. If he is out, Fannin (if dropped) is a TE1 option and should be picked up if he’s available in your league.
Jaylen Warren, Kenneth Gainwell, RBs, Steelers: Warren and Gainwell are splitting work as RB3s with Warren the preferred play.
Tony Pollard, Tyjae Spears, RBs, Titans: Pollard is ceding touches to Spears, especially in the passing game, and this could soon be a 50/50 split.
Christian Watson, Dontayvion Wicks, Matthew Golden, WRs, Packers: Wicks was hurt in Week 6, giving Golden a clearer path, which turned into a decent showing. If Wicks is out and Watson doesn’t return (his practice window opened last week), Golden would be a WR3, but if Watson is back, Golden’s uncertainty remains.
Justin Fields, QB, Jets: Despite his poor Week 6, he should be treated as a fringe QB1 in a good matchup going forward, but becomes riskier if Garrett Wilson is out.
Travis Hunter, WR, Jaguars: He’s finally the team’s number two wide receiver and has opportunities. He is a WR4 candidate going forward.
