Week six is now in the books. With 13 weeks left of football enjoy it while it flies by. Another great week of football, and a ton of upsets again. Lets break down the Bama players that made the biggest impacts.

Eagles – 17 at Giants – 34:

Jalen Hurts (Eagles) – A huge divisional upset here. Surprisingly, Hurts and the Eagles could not get much going on offense. Again Barkley finished with less than 15 touches and has done so in each of their losses. Hurts completed 72% of his passes for 283 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. His legs did not play much of a factor in this game. It was tough to see this Eagles defense give up so much on the ground as that has not been the usual. A tough loss in the division.

DeVonta Smith (Eagles) – Smith had a modest game and almost blew it open over the top, but Hurts over threw him. That missed shot would have flipped the game, and was their only deep shot of the night, as everything else was taken away by this Giants defense throughout the rest of the game. Smith had 4 catches for 49 yards.

Chargers – 29 at Dolphins 27:

Tua Tagovailoa (Dolphins) – Another tough game for the star qb. Tossing the rock for 205 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions. He was not necessarily the reason they lost, as he did lead a scoring drive to take the lead in the last two minutes of the game. His defense again continued to let them down, giving up the game winning drive with under 50 seconds left in the game.

Jaylen Waddle (Dolphins) – Catching six balls for 95 yards, it was a good outing for Waddle. He made some great catches, and one amazing catch on the sideline while on his back sliding out of bounds, to set up a scoring drive. Waddle is the main pass catcher and will remain so going forward with Hill having no timetable for return.

Bengals – 18 at Packers – 27, and player of the week:

Josh Jacobs (Packers) – What a game from Jacobs. He was the standout player of the weekend without a doubt. Coming up with 93 rushing yards with two touchdowns, and another 57 receiving yards, Jacobs was the Packers whole offense. That gives him two back to back games with two touchdowns. Clearly the main guy and star in Green Bay.

That does it for the week six recap. Check back Thursday for the week seven outlook!
