The Lions have been depleted on the backend of their defense as cornerbacks Avonte Maddox, Terrion Arnold, Khalil Dorsey, D.J. Reed Jr., Ennis Rakestraw Jr., and Brian Branch (suspension) ahead of their Week 7 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers inside Ford Field on Monday Night Football.

The addition of Fuller is vital, given his experience as a nine-year veteran and former third-round pick in the 2016 NFL draft.

Fuller started 104 games in his career while playing for multiple teams, including the Washington Commanders from 2016-2017 and 2020-2023, and the Kansas City Chiefs (2018-2019).

He started 11 games during the 2024 season for the Miami Dolphins, accumulating 50 tackles, seven pass breakups, and a fumble recovery.

The 5’9”, 198-pound corner played mostly on the outside, which is what the Lions need this season.
