The Cardinals find themselves in the company of the Raiders and Saints after their loss to the Colts.

The Arizona Cardinals suffered their fourth consecutive loss on Sunday, this time a 31-27 loss on the road to the Indianapolis Colts. It was not a last-second loss this time. They played without quarterback Kyler Murray and lost receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. during the game.

With the loss, they still fell in new NFL power rankings from USA TODAY’s Nate Davis.

Cardinals fall more in power rankings

Despite looking better offensively, the Cardinals struggled on defense and now find themselves nearing the bottom of the league at No. 26, four spots down from last week.

A suboptimal scenario for a team on a four-game slide with most of its top players falling by the wayside? How about a visit from the Pack. Still, worth nothing those four losses have come by a combined nine points, and QB2 Jacoby Brissett led the team to 27 points (tying a season high) and 400 yards (establishing a season high) during Sunday’s near miss at Indy.

They have the Packers coming to town in Week 7 with potentially Brissett starting again, and they could be looking at a 2-5 start entering the bye, about as bad a scenario as they could be in, especially with the schedule to end the season.

They now find themselves only two spots ahead of the lowly New Orleans Saints, and it is hard to argue against it.
