LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers is sharing the importance of safe driving.
Bowers teamed up with USAA and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police for a demonstration Tuesday ahead of National Teen Driver Safety Week.
The star player said he wants to be part of the Las Vegas community, which means keeping the roads safe for everyone.

“I think almost everyone has had an incident related to an auto accident that’s affected them personally,” Bowers told reporters. “So I think it’s just important to really have a message to young people everywhere and let them know that you’re affecting more people than just yourself out there.”
A self-described safe driver, Bowers volunteered to hop behind the wheel of a simulator. He tested the “distracted driving” mode and finished with a score of 90 out of 100.
He also took time to take photos and sign autographs for Las Vegas police officers.
