As speculation continues to swirl about Bill Belichick’s future in North Carolina, a photo from Steve Belichick’s wife is trending on social media on Thursday.
Steve Belichick, the son of the six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach, is the defensive coordinator at UNC. He played lacrosse and football at Rutgers before getting into coaching. Belichick served as an assistant coach for his father in New England from 2012-23. He served as Washington’s defensive coordinator in 2024, before joining his father in Chapel Hill.

On Thursday, multiple X accounts shared that Steve Belichick’s wife, Jenny, shared a photo to her Instagram Story involving a moving truck.

“We meet again,” the post read, according to Jim Murray of Felger & Mazz in Boston on Thursday afternoon, showing a white moving truck, presumably outside of her North Carolina home.
Of course, the Belichicks could simply be moving from a rental home to a permanent home. Or, perhaps, they’re moving something large into their house, or using a moving truck for any number of reasons.

However, given the constant speculation about Belichick’s future at North Carolina, the post is going viral on X on Thursday.
Belichick claims to be committed to UNC
While rumors have swirled about Bill Belichick’s future at North Carolina, the former NFL head coach said this week that he is committed to his future in Chapel Hill.
He has referred to rumors of his possible departure as “categorically false.”
“Reports about my looking for a buyout or trying to leave here is categorically false,” Belichick said this week, per ESPN. “There’s zero truth to any of that. I’m glad I’m here. We’re working toward our goals. We believe very much in the process. We need to just keep working and grinding away, and that’s exactly what we’re doing.”

UNC is 2-3 on the season, having lost three games in blowout fashion, but Belichick believes the process will work.
“It’s a learning curve,” Belichick said. “We’re all in it together. But we’re making a lot of progress, and the process will eventually produce the results we want like they have everywhere else I’ve been.”
UNC AD Bubba Cunningham remains committed to Belichick, too.
“There’s a steeper learning curve than we all anticipated,” Cunningham said. “The gap between expectations and performance is more severe than what we expected, and that’s what creates a lot of attention.”

UNC is set to take on Cal on Friday.
“Everybody’s most interested in the final score, and I’m at the top of that list,” Belichick said. “But it’s a process. You build a culture, you build a program, and eventually the results will come. When will that happen? Hopefully as soon as possible. We’re working hard to get there.”
