After a long and exciting journey through the 2025 NFL draft, Carolina Panthers general manager Dan Morgan and head coach Dave Canales made one particular message rather clear—and it was that they came away with their guys.
The extended weekend began on Thursday night, where the Panthers grabbed wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan with this year’s eighth overall pick.

Morgan and company would proceed to wheel and deal their way through Day 2, trading up for pass rushers Nic Scourton and Princely Umanmielen.
They then finished off with a patient Saturday—sticking and picking for running back Trevor Etienne, safety Lathan Ransom, defensive lineman Cam Jackson, tight end Mitchell Evans and wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr.
So, are Carolina’s guys good enough for everyone else?
