After a loss last week, West Salem came out firing on all cylinders on Friday as they downed their Coulee Conference foe.

Rushing scores by Lucas Fry and Isiaah Laack in the first quarter would set the tone for the home side and then early in the second quarter quarterback Drew McConkey would make a dazzling play off a scramble weaving past several Black River Falls defenders and he would find the endzone.

The 54 points is the highest output by West Salem this season, as they entered the day reaching the 40’s in four separate occasions.

The Tigers’ season comes to an end with a 2-7 overall record and 2-5 mark in Coulee Conference play.

West Salem will await to see who they will take on in the postseason with that selection show on Saturday morning.
