Mac Jones has the moves both on the field and at the podium.
Following the 49ers’ practice on Thursday, San Francisco’s signal-caller hilariously trolled a reporter who lightheartedly took a jab at the state of his physical condition.
Keep in mind, Jones was sacked a total of six times in the 49ers’ Week 6 road loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, causing the 27-year-old quarterback to hobble and limp in between plays.
“It seems like by the end of the last two games you haven’t been moving wonderfully,” the reporter told Jones.
The comment, which sent the 27-year-old quarterback into laughter, also prompted Jones to respond to the reporter with a hilarious quip.
“Thank you. Do you want to race?” Jones laughingly asked.
Now that’s some mental agility from Jones.
It seems that Jones is not as slow as others once thought.
