The Denver Broncos (4-2) host the New York Giants (2-4) at Empower Field at Mile High on Sunday afternoon in Week 7.
The Broncos are 7-point favorites in this game, and the Giants, who haven’t been favored in any of their previous six contests at the time of kickoff, are seeking their second consecutive upset. They knocked off the Philadelphia Eagles at home last Thursday, 34-17.
Here are three prop bets for you to consider in the game, per BetMGM.
Game total UNDER 40.5 points (-110)
Five of the Broncos’ six games have gone under. Four of the Giants’ six games have also gone under.
The clubs took different routes to get here, however. The Broncos have played low-scoring games due to the strength of their second-ranked defense holding opponents in check.
The Giants have played low-scoring games because their offense has had massive struggles in the red zone, which appear to be clearing up, but Denver is No. 1 in red zone defense.
This game should be a defensive battle, with the Giants’ defense looking better and the Broncos playing their normal game.
Winning margin (including OT) Broncos by 1-6 points (+290)
The Broncos are 1-3 against the spread as favorites this season and won their latest two games by two and four points, respectively.
The Giants are a different team since rookie Jaxson Dart took over at quarterback three weeks ago. They are 2-1 with upset wins over the Los Angeles Chargers and Philadelphia sandwiched around a sloppy road loss in New Orleans.
They’re not likely to win this game, but they can keep things close if they avoid turnovers and penalties.
Giants QB Jaxson Dart UNDER 38.5 rushing yards (-110)
A lot has been made of Broncos linebacker Jonathon Cooper’s comments regarding Dart’s mobility and swagger. Both sides have been biting back and forth on social media, and Denver’s focus will be on stopping Dart from beating them with his legs.
Dart is averaging 33.4 yards per game on the ground, but he’s facing a Denver defense that is ranked sixth against the run. With the extra focus on Dart here, expect the Broncos to hold him under his average.
