The San Francisco 49ers put together an impressive performance in their 2025 primetime debut in Week 6 vs. the Los Angeles Rams. They’ll need to have a similar showing in Week 7 when they host the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football.

While the 49ers are healthier offensively than when they visited the Rams, their defense suffered a devastating loss in Week 6 when linebacker Fred Warner sustained a season-ending dislocated ankle. That injury thrusts a number of a unproven players into the spotlight just in time to face a Falcons club that’s coming off a tremendous win over the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football.
