CeeDee Lamb says he feels like himself after a Week 3 ankle injury and will return to the Cowboys active lineup, as will fellow receiver and return specialist KaVontae Turpin. Rookie offensive lineman Tyler Booker is also back in action after missing the team’s three previous outings. One wrinkle to watch on offense: running back Malik Davis could make his 2025 debut with Miles Sanders on season-ending IR.

As previously reported, All-Pro cornerback Trevon Diggs is out after being placed in concussion protocol following his still-mysterious at-home accident Thursday night. Will second-year man Caelen Carson get any reps due to Diggs’s absence? He should; he’s off injured reserve and active for the first time this season. Also in the secondary, safety Juanyeh Thomas is a surprise scratch; he popped up on the practice report late in the week with a migraine attack that will keep him out of Sunday’s lineup.

Defensive linemen Marshawn Kneeland and Mazi Smith were listed as questionable on Friday, both with ankle issues; Smith will go, but Kneeland is out.

Washington’s offense, meanwhile, will limp into AT&T Stadium minus two of their top pass-catching options, receivers Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel.

On the other side of the ball for the Commanders, defensive end Dorance Armstrong will suit up against his former Cowboys teammates despite not practicing all week. And Daron Payne, who had been dealing with an illness in recent days, has no game designation and is expected to play.

Here’s the complete list of inactive players for both the Cowboys and Commanders ahead of Week 7’s kickoff.
