FOXBOROUGH — A key piece of Cleveland’s offense returned to practice on Thursday.
Sidelined Wednesday with a knee injury, Jerry Jeudy was back on the practice field Thursday. A Pro Bowler in 2024, Jeudy hasn’t matched that production yet this season, catching 22 passes for 257 yards, but has still been far and away the best Browns wideout. No other wide receiver has hit the 125 receiving yard mark yet.
Last year in Cleveland, Jeudy had 90 catches for 1,229 yards. The pass catcher also shared the Browns sideline with Mike Vrabel, who spent 2024 as a consultant for Cleveland before becoming the Patriots coach.
“I enjoyed that time,” Vrabel said. “I enjoyed the people there. That organization. I enjoyed working with Kevin [Stefanski], the offensive staff, Tommy Rees and Chad [O’Shea]. I played with Bubba [Ventrone]. So, a lot of good young coaches. Jim Schwartz – I had a really good relationship with Schwartzy. They’re playing really well. They’re coming off a huge win. They’re a great defense, offense is physical, physical O-line. Running backs are doing a nice job.”
