New York Jets receiver Garrett Wilson was declared out Oct. 24 by head coach Aaron Glenn for their game against the Cincinnati Bengals in NFL Week 8 at Paycor Stadium.
Wilson did not play in the team’s Week 7 loss to Carolina because of a knee injury. He did not practice Oct. 22.

Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner, a former University of Cincinnati Bearcats standout, also was declared out for the Week 8 game in Cincinnati.
Wilson leads the Jets with 36 receptions for 395 receiving yards and four touchdowns this season. He has played in six games.
Wilson, a first-round pick of the Jets in the 2022 NFL draft, has 3,644 receiving yards on 315 catches through 57 NFL games. He’s had at least 1,000 receiving yards in each of his first three seasons.
Wilson’s only game against the Bengals came in Sept. 2022. He caught six Joe Flacco passes for 60 yards in a 27-12 loss to Cincinnati at MetLife Stadium.
