The Washington Commanders returned to the practice field on Friday in preparation for their Week 8 matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday Night Football.

There were just two players who did not participate on Friday: Jayden Daniels and Daron Payne. Daniels had previously been ruled out for Monday’s game with a hamstring injury. Marcus Mariota will start in his stead, and it looks like he’ll have some weapons back at his side this week.

Payne has a toe injury, and while he wasn’t listed on Thursday’s injury report, he did participate in practice. The same injury kept him out of Friday’s practice as well.

Here’s Washington’s full injury report from Thursday:

Two Chiefs players did not practice, including Pro Bowl guard Trey Smith. Smith is dealing with a back injury, but it isn’t believed to be serious. Josh Simmons (NIR – rest) did not participate for the second straight day, but running back Kareem Hunt (ankle) returned on a limited basis.

Overall, Kansas City appears mostly healthy heading into Monday night.
