The Tennessee Titans will face the Indianapolis Colts this Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, at 3:25 p.m. CDT.

It’s the second meeting of the season between the divisional opponents, and it pits two teams on opposite ends of the spectrum against each other. On one hand, the Colts sit atop the entire NFL as the only six-win team, and they are dominating in every game. On the other hand, the Titans sit at the bottom of the NFL in almost every way and seem to suffer catastrophic collapses in every game.

Each week, we try to give you decent advice on who to start and sit in your fantasy league from the Titans’ matchups. Usually, there’s a start and a sit from each team, and occasionally there’s a sleeper. This week, though, things are a little different. There are some really great fantasy options in this game, but none of them wear a Titans uniform.

That said, let’s take a look at who to start and sit from the Week 8 matchup between the Titans and Colts.

Start: RB Jonathan Taylor

Taylor leads the NFL in rushing yards with 697, and leads the league in touchdowns with 10. The Titans have allowed a league-high 10 touchdowns to running backs in 2025, and Taylor is responsible for three of those touchdowns. Jeffery Simmons hasn’t practiced all week after leaving during the second quarter of Week 7 with a hamstring injury. James Lynch, Arden Key, and Xavier Woods are all nursing nagging injuries as well. Taylor won’t have an issue reaching his projected 25.63 points, and could very well exceed it.

Sit: QB Cam Ward

Let’s face it, Ward isn’t a viable fantasy option this week. While he’s made improvements to his game, and the Colts have one of the worst passing defenses in the league, Ward is too inconsistent to trust in standard leagues. If you’re in a superflex league or multi-quarterback format league, he could be worth considering. But for most standard leagues with one starting quarterback, there are far better options than the quarterback projected to earn under 13 fantasy points this week.

Start: QB Daniel Jones

The Titans’ secondary took a hit when L’Jarius Sneed ended up back on injured reserve with a quadricep injury. In his place, 6th-round draft pick Marcus Harris will get the start. We’ll see some interesting rotations in the secondary over the next few weeks, and Daniel Jones gets the first crack. Granted, if the Colts are winning by a large margin, they may end up relying more on the run game for clock management purposes, but Jones can add to his total points with his ground game. He’s projected 20.65 points this week, and he’s absolutely worth starting against the Titans.

Sit: RB Tony Pollard

Pollard has been limited to 12 touches in each of the last two games, which coincides with the return of Tyjae Spears. While still the starting running back and main ground option, the Colts have a top-10 run defense that allows 4.2 yards per carry. The Titans may have to abandon the run in favor of the pass game, which is where the Colts are the weakest. He could be a potential flex option, considering he has one of the three rushing touchdowns the Colts have allowed to a running back this season, but outside of that, he will struggle to reach the 9.23 points he’s projected.

Sleeper: TE Tyler Warren

The Titans have actually defended well against tight ends this season, and they did keep Warren out of the end zone in their last meeting. But. Warren has at least 63 receiving yards in five of his first seven games, and he’s found the end zone in each of the last four games. With the Titans’ injuries piling up on defense, Warren could be in for a breakout game against the Titans.
