The Atlanta Falcons have allowed the fewest passing yards in the NFL and the second fewest total offensive yardage so far in the 2025 season. That could mean trouble for a Miami Dolphins that already wasn’t finding a ton of success against much less formidable defenses.

Atlanta also has a dangerous trio of offensive weapons, led by dynamic running back Bijan Robinson. Against Miami’s dead-last ranked rush defense, Robinson could be in for a monster day.

For bettors looking for some wins in Week 8, here are our picks for the Dolphins’ road matchup in Atlanta:

All odds via BetMGM

Falcons RB Bijan Robinson OVER 135.5 rushing plus receiving yards (-118)

Robinson is a top-tier running back in the league, and Miami has made backups look like perennial All-Pros so far this season. Over the last three games, the Dolphins have let Rico Dowdle, Kimani Vidal, and Quinshon Judkins combine for 456 scrimmage yards and five touchdowns.

In Robinson’s six games this season, he is averaging 152.3 scrimmage yards per game. He could very well finish as Week 8’s most productive back.

Dolphins RB De’Von Achane OVER 99.5 rushing plus receiving yards (-115)

Miami’s main offensive weapon is clearly running back De’Von Achane. He is another top-flight pass-catching back and one of the premier players at the position despite his team’s struggles. He is the second most targeted running back out of the backfield so far in 2025, behind only the San Francisco 49ers’ Christian McCaffrey. It’s always wise to combine the rushing and receiving yardage for Achane.

Falcons TE Kyle Pitts OVER 44.5 receiving yards (-118)

Pitts is having a productive year and now faces a Dolphins defense that has given up the fifth-most yards per game to tight ends at 450, which translates to 64.2 per game. Additionally, Pitts had the best game of his career back in 2021 in his one and only matchup against Miami, catching seven of eight targets for 163 yards.

Falcons WR Drake London OVER 59.5 receiving yards (-115)

Drake London is the eighth-most targeted wide receiver in the NFL this season through his six games with 63, averaging a bit over 10 per game. He has translated that into 469 yards, 78.2 per game, which is the eighth-best total in the league. At 6’4, he is a big target who should be featured plenty against a banged-up Dolphins’ secondary.

Dolphins K Riley Patterson OVER 6.5 kicking points (+105)

When looking for bright spots on the Dolphins in 2025, one could argue that kicker Riley Patterson is one. He has hit nine of 10 field goal attempts and all 15 of his extra point tries. That translates to six kicking points per game, and with this game being indoors, as well as the Falcons limiting teams to just 265.2 total yards and 20 points per game, Riley could be asked to get some points on the board when the Dolphins offense falters.

Dolphins RB Ollie Gordon UNDER 15.5 rushing yards (-150)

One of the mysteries of the 2025 season for the Dolphins has been the inconsistent and limited usage of rookie running back Ollie Gordon. Playing the percentages here, Gordon has exceeded five carries just twice this season, and went over 12 rushing yards only once.

Should the Falcons jump out to an early lead, which wouldn’t be unexpected, Miami could be forced to pass plenty, further limiting the number of opportunities for Gordon.

Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa OVER 0.5 interceptions thrown (-155)

Tagovailoa is tied for the league-lead in interceptions in 2025 with 10 so far. He has thrown six in his last two games, and has only finished two games without a pick. The Falcons defense averages one interception a game and is a top-eight unit in takeaways.
