Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs have finally found their rhythm, improving to 4-3 on the 2025 NFL season with their second straight win, a 31-0 shutout of AFC West rival Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7. Now, the Chiefs will look to make it three in a row when the Washington Commanders come to town for Week 8’s edition of “Monday Night Football.”

Kelce, in his 13th year in the NFL, appears on track for his worst season since being selected in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft out of Cincinnati. Through seven games, Kelce has caught 31 passes for 375 yards and two touchdowns. Assuming Kelce plays in all 17 games this season, the tight end is on track for 75 catches, which would be his lowest regular-season output since joining forces with Patrick Mahomes.

Though Kelce may be seeing a decline in his on-field production, the Cleveland native and future of husband of pop star Taylor Swift appears joyful as ever as the Chiefs prepare to take on the Commanders on Monday night at Arrowhead Stadium.

In a practice video that surfaced online Saturday, Kelce was seen jogging alongside the Chiefs’ offensive line before suddenly getting the zoomies, breaking into a full sprint across the field, showing off his 36-year-old speed. After the run, the tight end had a playful comment about the “beautiful weather” in Kansas City.

“Ok speed demon killa!” added another.

“87 is risking his life and out breath in that 40 ft jog. Taylor Swift was right! 🙄,” wrote a third.

“taylor told us, he can run so fast and he can jump so high ⚡️,” posted a fourth.
