SUGAR LAND, Texas. (KTTC) – Former Minnesota Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson was arrested on Sunday for suspicion of drunk driving in Texas, according to FOX 9 in Minneapolis. Peterson was also arrested for “unlawfully possessing a weapon.”
This is the second DWI arrest for the former Viking this year, as Peterson was arrested in April for drunk driving after attending a Vikings NFL draft party.
FOX 9 added that the arrest occurred around 10 a.m. on Sunday in Sugar Land, Texas, and that Peterson has not been formally charged to this point.
