Tennessee Titans interim coach Mike McCoy said yesterday that he should have gone for the 4th and 3 from the Indianapolis Colts’ 42 on Sunday instead of punting. The Titans were down 17-7 at the time. They weren’t going to win that game either way, considering the fact that they had no answer for Jonathan Taylor, but the punt there made absolutely zero sense. Why does everyone coaching the Titans need 24 hours to understand a football decision? At least we don’t have to worry about McCoy being considered for the full-time job after the season.
