Here is the latest injury update on Josh Downs and other Colts’ starters.

After having a lengthy injury report on Wednesday, the Indianapolis Colts had several key players return to practice on Thursday.

This includes safety Nick Cross (shoulder) and wide receiver Josh Downs (hip). Both were full participants.

Cross has put together a very good start to the season, doing a bit of everything in this disguise-heavy Lou Anarumo defense. Downs, meanwhile, remains a go-to target in the passing game.

Also back on the practice field were cornerback Kenny Moore (Achilles) and defensive end Tyquan Lewis (groin). Moore and Lewis were each full participants.

Moore not practicing on Wednesday has been the norm for him the last two weeks since he returned from injury. For Lewis, this was his first practice back since suffering the groin injury in Week 7. He did not play last Sunday against Tennessee.

Offensive tackle Braden Smith (rest) and guard Matt Goncalves (personal) were both full participants as well.

Cornerback Jaylon Jones was a full participant for the second day in a row. He is eligible to return to the field on Sunday if medically cleared to do so.

Still not practicing for the Colts were Anthony Gould (knee), Samson Ebukam (knee), and Grover Stewart (foot).

Last week, Shane Steichen said that Ebukam was week-to-week at that time. Gould suffered his injury in Sunday’s win, while Stewart’s practice status on Friday will certainly be worth watching.
