ESPN’s longtime NFL draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. released his latest prospect rankings, and three Clemson defenders took a slight step back in his updated evaluations.

Cornerback Avieon Terrell dropped six places to No. 23 overall, the biggest fall among the group. Still, Kiper praised Terrell’s overall polish and coverage instincts, calling him “a proven cover man” who mirrors receivers with ease and consistently finds the ball. Terrell remains Kiper’s No. 2 cornerback prospect thanks to his steady play and technical consistency.

T.J. Parker also moved down, slipping five spots to No. 20 overall. Kiper acknowledged the sophomore hasn’t quite matched last year’s production but said his athletic traits and relentless motor continue to stand out. Parker is still viewed as the top outside linebacker prospect in this draft class.

Defensive tackle Peter Woods slid one spot to No. 6, though Kiper maintained his status as the No. 1 player at his position. He described Woods as an adaptable interior force who could thrive at multiple spots along an NFL defensive line because of his blend of power and quickness.

No other Clemson players cracked the top 10 at their positions, but wide receiver Antonio Williams received an honorable mention from Kiper.
