The top 12 teams in each region in the final report will qualify for the OHSAA state playoffs in pursuit of a trip to the OHSAA state championship games. The top four teams in each region get a first-round bye before hosting a second-round game. Seeds 5-8 will host first-round playoff games against seeds 9-12.

Ohio high school football’s 10-game regular season leads up to the Ohio High School Athletic Association state playoffs at the end of October and into November — and ultimately, the OHSAA state championship games. The state finals are Dec. 4-6 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton — the fifth straight year all of the title games are being played there.
