Bowers hasn’t played since Sept. 28 because of a knee injury and before that caught 19 passes for 225 yards with no touchdowns. If the Raiders want to pull out of their nosedive, they need to get Bowers healthy and as involved in the offense as he was as a rookie in 2024 when he caught 112 passes for 1,194 yards and five scores. 

Lloyd also is coming off an injury that kept him out of the last game, but was having a Pro Bowl season before that, especially in pass defense with four interceptions, which is still tied for first in the NFL despite missing the Rams game, not getting a pick the previous week against Seattle, and the bye week. 

Bowers caught 13 passes for 99 yards in the Raiders’ victory over the Jaguars last year.
