Packers coach Matt LaFleur discusses Micah Parsons’ impact

If kids plan to come to Matt LaFleur’s house for Halloween, they shouldn’t expect to get the big candy bars.
In fact, the lights are probably off.
The Green Bay Packers coach doesn’t have time for candy or costumes. It’s football season, after all.
So, if anyone was questioning LaFleur’s focus ahead of the Week 9 home game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, Nov. 2, just listen to what he said during his Oct. 31 press conference.
Asked if he knows what his Halloween costume is going to be, LaFleur at the end of the nearly 5-minute question-and -answer session replied matter of factly: “It’s Halloween, huh?”
“I got into a big discussion about this with my assistant Darryl (Franklin),” LaFleur said. “I don’t give a (s—) if it’s Halloween, all right. We’re trying to win a game, period.”
He added: “It’s a Friday in the National Football League. That’s what day it is.”
Well, there you have it.
While LaFleur might not be dressing up or celebrating Halloween around the Lambeau Field offices, his players are often fans of the holiday.
Defensive end Colby Wooden even offered up the scares to guests as a haunted house actor at Terror on the Fox in Ashwaubenon.

Meanwhile, Jordan Love typically coordinates his costume with his wife, Ronika Stone Love. But this year, he’s taking the year off with that. However, he’s not skipping the holiday. Kids are more than welcome at his house.
“We’ll be serving candy at the front door,” he said Oct. 28 on the “Up & Adams Show” with FanDuelTV sports host Kay Adams.
