Will Jaguars’ WR Brian Thomas Jr. play in Week 9 against the Raiders? Here is the latest injury update.

Will Jacksonville Jaguars’ wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. play in the team’s Week 9 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders?

Coming out of the bye week, Thomas Jr. was a limited participant in all three practices this week while dealing with a shoulder injury.

Earlier in the season, Thomas Jr. was on the injury report with a wrist injury, but he did not miss any time.

Will Jaguars‘ WR Brian Thomas Jr. play in Week 9 vs. the Raiders?

On the Jaguars’ final Week 9 injury report, Thomas Jr. does not have an injury designation.

It’s been an up-and-down season for Thomas Jr., to say the least. While he’s been targeted heavily in the passing game, he’s hauled in just 27 of his 54 targets.

Dropped passes have been an issue, along with Thomas Jr. and Trevor Lawrence not always being on the same page either.

However, both Liam Coen and Lawrence remain confident in the second-year wideout.

Coen would add on Friday that Thomas Jr. “truly” had his best week of practice this week.

“I got all the confidence that he’s going to play really well and be just fine,” Lawrence said on Wednesday.

Without Travis Hunter for the time being, Thomas Jr., making a steady impact in the passing game, will be vital.
