The Tennessee Titans are returning to Nissan Stadium on Sunday for a matchup with the Los Angeles Rams in Week 9 action, and dove into their practice squad to add some reinforcements.

Tennessee entered the weekend with a depleted roster and used standard elevations to make wide receiver James Proche and defensive end Carlos Watkins available for Sunday’s action.

This will be the third elevation for Proche in 2025, and the final time he will be eligible during the season. If he is to be part of the organization following this weekend, Tennessee will have to add him to the 53-man roster. With Proche elevated, he will join Elic Ayomanor, Chimere Dike, Van Jefferson, Mason Kinsey, and possibly Bryce Oliver (knee/questionable) as the Titans’ wide receivers against the Chargers on Sunday.

Tennessee might need some added depth along the defensive line with questions lingering about the potential availability of Jihad Ward, who is still away from the team dealing with a personal issue. While the team doesn’t have any type of designation for Sunday, reports indicate that he is currently away from the team, although he is expected to return Saturday evening.

Like Proche, this will be Watkins’ third activation in 2025, and he will have to be added to the roster to make any further impact for Tennessee during the season. The Titans last elevated Watkins in September for a Week 3 battle with the Indianapolis Colts.

The Titans will take the field on Sunday at Nissan Stadium to take on the Chargers in Week 9 action.Â
