Live updates from before, during and after Sunday’s game at Gillette Stadium.

The Atlanta Falcons will face off against the New England Patriots on Sunday at Gillette Stadium. Entering Week 9, these two teams appear to be going in different directions. The Falcons have lost back-to-back games and were just defeated by the Miami Dolphins by 24 points in Week 8.

On the other hand, the Patriots are red-hot. They currently lead the AFC East with a 6-2 record. Sunday’s game is the first head-to-head matchup between former top-10 draft picks Michael Penix Jr. and Drake Maye. The Patriots selected Maye with the third overall pick, five spots before the Falcons selected Penix at pick No. 8.

After sitting out of Week 8 due to a bone bruise in his knee, Penix is back to make his seventh start of the season. Wide receiver Drake London, left tackle Jake Matthews and tight end Kyle Pitts are also good to go after being listed on the injury report for Week 9.

Follow along for live updates before, during and after Sunday’s matchup. Stand by for the Falcons’ inactives list at 11:30 a.m. ET.
