Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft was carted off the field with a right leg injury in the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers. Kraft, 24, has emerged as a cornerstone of Green Bay’s passing game, leading the team in receptions and ranking just behind Romeo Doubs in targets before the game. The injury came while Kraft was blocking on a Josh Jacobs run, when left guard Sean Rhyan inadvertently stepped on his leg.
At the time, Kraft had recorded two catches for 20 yards. His status for the remainder of the game is uncertain, leaving the Packers without one of the NFL’s most productive tight ends this season. Kraft’s absence is particularly concerning given Green Bay’s injury-plagued receiving corps.

Jayden Reed is out for the season, and Christian Watson missed significant time earlier in the year, returning only last week. Despite these challenges, Kraft has thrived, ranking third among tight ends in receiving yards, tied for second in touchdown receptions, and leading the position in yards after catch per reception. His role has been central to Jordan Love’s offense, making this injury a major setback for the Packers moving forward.
