The Chicago Bears and Cincinnati Bengals were involved in one of the most chaotic and entertaining games in the NFL this season, with Chicago pulling off an improbable comeback in the final minutes.

With the Bears holding a two-score lead, Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco led the offense to scoring 15 points in 49 seconds, giving Cincinnati a lead with less than a minute to go.

Trailing by one point and with time not on their side, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams extended the offensive drive with his legs, and then found tight end Colston Loveland for the biggest play in recent Bears history. Loveland, the team’s first-round rookie, had the biggest game of his young career with six receptions for 118 yards, and two touchdowns.

In a fourth quarter that was filled with back-and-forth momentum swings for both teams, at one point or another in the final two minutes, they each had a high probability to win the game. Both Chicago and Cincinnati had at least an 85% win probability in the final two minutes, proving just how wild of a ride this game was.

The two teams combined for 31 points in the fourth quarter, and although they faced the possibility of an epic collapse, the Bears prevailed with the victory. Chicago’s win was their third this season in a one-possession game, changing the narrative of the team’s chances to win close games, which they had fail to do in previous seasons.

The Bears and Bengals put on a game to remember, and the victory keeps Chicago alive in an ultra competitive and tight NFC North division.
