The Los Angeles Chargers have made an addition at the trade deadline ahead of their Week 10 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night, trading for New Orleans Saints offensive lineman Trevor Penning. The Chargers have been dealing with a rash of offensive line injuries, including a season-ending injury to left tackle Joe Alt last week.
Jets Sell the Farm

The New York Jets are selling the farm. After sending All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts. the Jets also traded away defensive tackle Quinnen Williams to the Dallas Cowboys, giving them a draft haul in return.
The Cowboys sent a 2026 second-round pick, 2027-first round pick and young defensive tackle Mazi Smith to the Jets to complete the deal.
That gives the Jets two first-round picks in 2026 and three first-rounders in 2027.
Colts Make Big Splash

With their contending window pried open by Jonathan Taylor and one of the surprises of the NFL season, Daniel Jones, the Indianapolis Colts saw it fit to go after an elite coverman. The Colts traded a pair of first-round draft picks to the moribund New York Jets to net Sauce Gardner, who signed a massive contract extension with the Jets this past offseason.
Receiver AD Mitchell might also be going to the Big Apple in the deal.
Entering this week, the Colts have the seventh-worst passing defense in terms of yards per game allowed (244.8). That might change with Garnder in town now.
Bengals Are Sellers, After All

The Cincinnati Bengals are officially sellers, trading linebacker Logan Wilson to the Dallas Cowboys for a seventh-round draft pick. The move came on the heels of Sunday’s last-second loss to the Chicago Bears that sent the Bengals to 2.5 games behind the Steelers for first place in the AFC North, and there are six teams with better wild card resumes.
The 29-year-old Wilson had formally requested a trade from Cincinnati last month, after seeing his role reduced in the Bengals defense under new coordinator Al Golden.
The Cowboys aren’t in much better shape, falling to 3-5-1 after a Monday Night Football loss to the Arizona Cardinals, but Jerry Jones promised addition, not subtraction at the deadline.

Ravens Add Edge Rusher
The Baltimore Ravens added to their struggling defense, trading for Tennessee Titans edge rusher Dre’Mont Jones. The Ravens sent a conditional fifth-round pick to Nashville to facilitate the deal.
Jones has 4.5 sacks in nine games with the Titans this season — which could be a significant boost for a Ravens pass rush that has just 11 sacks on the season, tied for 29th in the NFL.
It should be no surprise that the 1-8 Titans are sellers, but also that they may not want to take away from the offensive pieces surrounding first-round quarterback Cam Ward. Trading from the defense makes more sense.
