The Miami Dolphins don’t have much left to play for in what’s become a lost season at 2-7, but they do have an opportunity to do something very notable that doesn’t happen often – notch a win against the Buffalo Bills.
The Bills invade Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday afternoon in the early CBS window, and unless you’re in a very particular part of the country, don’t expect to see this one on local television.

Per 506 Sports, the game will have one of the smallest viewing windows of the day. Andrew Catalon, Charles Davis, and Jason McCourty will be on the call for CBS.

The game will be shown in South Florida as well as most of New York State and slivers of Vermont, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. It will also be shown in parts of Wyoming, which is presumable due to the Josh Allen factor (played at the University of Wyoming).
Can the Dolphins kick the post-Chris Grier era off with a huge win?
After the Dolphins’ dismal 28-6 loss to the Baltimore Ravens last Thursday, owner Stephen Ross and general manager Chris Grier agreed to what was called a mutual parting of ways. The result is some long-overdue accountability for a franchise that has been stagnant for far too long.

Can Miami give their fans something memorable amid a season of much? A sign that perhaps there’s something within the locker room that the franchise’s next general manager can build upon moving forward? The Dolphins had an A+ performance out of nowhere in a 34-10 win over the Falcons. Another on Sunday would be a welcome sight for a fanbase that desperately could use a lift.
The Bills and Dolphins get underway at 1:00 pm ET in Miami Gardens.
