The New York Jets are turning to another page of their 2025 NFL season.
In Week 10, the Jets (1-10) will head back home to face the Cleveland Browns (2-6) at MetLife Stadium.
There have been a lot of changes in New York. We’re starting to see the results of those choices and the outcome against the Browns will reveal even more.
But before we even get to kickoff, there will be a lot of Jets-related discussions and conversations to be had throughout the coming days.
With that, here are five storylines to watch for ahead of the Jets’ against the Browns in Week 10:
Reactions to trades
While both Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams are gone, there will be some leftover reaction to be found throughout this week. How will those still playing in New York react to the now traded cornerback and defensive tackle?
Who is starting at QB?
At the start of this week, head coach Aaron Glenn has refused to name a quarterback for the Jets against the Browns. But… there is no way Justin Fields is not selected following his big game in his team’s first win.
Replacements
Gardner and Williams out, AD Mitchell and Mazi Smith in. Those two were acquired in trades for Gardner and Williams. Will the Jets’ new wide receiver and defensive tackle manage to learn the playbook quick enough before kickoff against the Browns?
Youthful opportunties?
Along with Mitchell and Smith, will Glenn start turning to younger or backup players this week? If the Jets are rebuilding, they should start giving everyone an opportunity to figure out who is part of the solution in New York.
On the flip side…
The likes of running back Breece Hall, wide receiver Garrett Wilson, and others were potential trade targets ahead of the 2025 trade deadline. They were not shipped out of New York. Still with the Jets… how do they react about their own circumstances this week?
